In order to improve the engine reliablity, Sinotruk Steyr engine is the first one in China market adopted the EURO3 enhanced wide cylinder body designed by UK RICARDO company. The action solved the defect of stiffness and strength for original Steyr big power engine cylinder body.
There are 8 slots for pulley and connecting flange, can satisfy many kinds of customers requirements. Fishing boat pulley can be adjusted for special application.
The Centrifugal pump fixed in front cylinder block time gear room, water pump scrollhousing and outlet and time gear roomcasting into a block. Water pump pulley of crankshaft is driven by two V-belt. Marine diesel engine adopting fresh and sea water double-cycle cooling system, and fresh water is the closed cycle, sea water is open cycle. It mainly consists of fresh water pumps, sea water pump, heat exchanger etc. Such engine uses the recessed oil cooler, through the cooling water system for oil cooling.
The Marine diesel engine heat exchanger and inter-cooler are installed in the engine, the inter-cooler is postfixed.
Marine engine general instrument includes main monitor controller and remote controller with 45m remote transmission line, showing cabin and driving room start and stop, and showing speed, water temp., oil temp., oil pressure etc. Abnormal alarm is realizable for higher temp., overspeed and lower oil pressure, for stopping is operationable.
Sinotruk engine adopted PS8500 high-pressure fuel pump, DELPHI injector and turbocharger with release valve, is better than others in economic, dynamic, reliability and emission index, saving 10% fuel consumption per hundred kilometers.
